Trae Regan

I was born and raised in the Florida Keys, spent a month in the West Indies (Antigua & Barbuda) at age 14, and then moved to Daytona Beach, FL. I was a "know-it-all" and moved out at age 15. That was an obvious mistake and although I spent a few years getting into trouble, with the help of my family, I snapped out of it and headed off to Tampa, FL for college in January of 2000.

Life really improved from there. I became hooked on computers, and in December of 2001 completed an AS in Interactive Media. I was very fortunate to have a great opportunity present itself early in my degree studies and I ended up working for 5 years in the Information Technology Department at the college. In May of 2005 I left that position to pursue a new career as a Freelance Web Developer. I stayed in Tampa for a few months but decided to move back to Daytona Beach in August of 2005.

In January of 2006 I met my wonderful better-half, Sabrina. She really motivates me! Soon after meeting her the positive effects resonated into all aspects of life. I quickly dropped a few unhealthy habits and became focused on my future with her. My freelance career really started to pick up steam around this time too. Thanks to a friend's company, that was becoming very successful, my workload increased to the point where it became necessary to hire and manage a team of programming professionals in June of 2006. I was in a good position to grow with that company and devoted myself to that stream of work from then on.

In June of 2007 I proposed to Sabrina. We are proud new homeowners living in New Smyrna Beach, FL and set to be married in January of 2010. Regarding my career, I am still enjoying the Programming Manager position and the company I work with continues to thrive. I'm also an aspiring entrepreneur with a few partnerships and interesting side-projects in active development. Life is good!
